Sabrina started violin at age 5 as her mother's guinea pig Suzuki student, and now it's one of her greatest joys to get to play with her mother in the symphony. Growing up in Highland she had the privilege of participating in many of the extraordinary musical opportunities that abound here in Utah and benefited from the mentoring of our treasury of fine educators. She minored in music at BYU while pursuing a career in nursing, married a cool percussionist she met in pit orchestra in high school and followed him around the world with the Navy, had four great kids who have been dragged to more symphony concerts than your average child, and works now as a registered nurse at American Fork Hospital in Endoscopy (colon cancer screenings begin at age 45, folks!). She enjoys being in the mountains, swimming, and doing puzzles, but playing in symphony is her most favorite hobby of all. She is so grateful for all the time, talents, sacrifices, and effort it takes to make a community group like this exist, and hopes you will enjoy being part of the music as much as she does.
